Teaching Philosophy

Horace's goal as an educator is to provide learning experiences that enable children to unlock their potential and grow academically, emotionally, and socially. He employs inquiry and project-based learning often and uses data-driven teaching methods to engage students. Horace wants every one of his students to engage in self-discovery of their passions and he creates a classroom environment where children feel safe exploring and taking risks. He personalizes the curriculum to connect with the student's interests and the larger community around them.
